Product Description
The MTG 4000 is a precision watch timing and testing machine, also known as a Timegrapher, designed to evaluate the accuracy and performance of mechanical watches. This sophisticated device measures key metrics such as the watch's rate (how fast or slow it runs), amplitude (the movement's strength), and beat error (the synchronization of the movement). By analyzing these factors, the MTG 4000 provides detailed insights into the timekeeping performance of a watch, helping watchmakers and enthusiasts assess whether a timepiece is running within the ideal specifications. It is an essential tool for diagnosing and fine-tuning mechanical watches, ensuring they function at their best.
The unit comes with 7” digital color LCD screen and microphone. The timing machine tests the timing (if slow or fast) the beat, and amplitude of a mechanical watch. Pre-programmed beat rates range from 18000, 19800, 21600, 25200, 28800, 36000. The beat rates can be set manually or automatically by the tester. Microphones can be manually rotated by hand
